Meet the pro
Nikki Mathews
Nikki Mathews is a Maple Ridge, BC, Canada sugar artist and the owner of Sweet Kiwi Cupcakes & Cookies. She was born in New Zealand, and naturally wanted to name her little sugar business after her Kiwi heritage.
Nikki has always loved to bake and share that love. Sweet Kiwi began with cupcakes, then cakes and she taught herself how to do cookies as she moved her business along. With humble beginnings at local farmer’s markets, Nikki now has a loyal client base, teaches decorating classes regularly, and has taught at CookieCon, the largest gathering of cookie artists in the world!
When she’s not listening to true crime murder podcasts while creating edible art, she loves travelling with her husband to find all the best bakeries, and spending time with her two teenagers and golden retriever.
